Simple Tablescape Idea

The Holidays are a lot of fun for my Mom and I to get together and decorate. During that time, we do a lot of talking about the past and sometimes we laugh so hard at each other, 

we're in tears and I end up slumped over with stomach pain. 

I'm sure many would think we're silly, but we totally get each other, 

and I love that she reminds me of how funny I am (sometimes I need to be reminded of that... it's easy to take things too serious the older I get.) 

These are just a few reasons I'm looking forward to being home again this Thanksgiving. 

Last year, I decorated my Mom's table with crystal hurricanes 

and a trifle bowl filled with dried peas and a candle. I wrapped them with gold raffia ribbon and tied on some colorful leaves and a square piece of burlap secured by hot glue.

Popcorn kernels are also a good filler for a these guys. 

The possibilities are endless!
