I've had this collage frame for over 10 years now and for most of that time, it's been sitting in a closet collecting dust. As I was placing it in the trash pile, it hit me...
Paint it!
After taking the glass out, I painted the frame with Krylon Dual in white and shabbied the edges.
I found some scrapbook paper at Hobby Lobby a few months ago and had to have it.
I love the weathered wood look.
Then I replaced the glass and using my super hot glue gun, attached some pretty shells and sea life.
Then I made some burlap ribbon and attached it to the top to hang.
...and this is what I got...
It looks lovely hanging on my apple green wall.
